It appears that the Affordable Care Act is here to stay. Most of the affordable plans have very high deductibles and some don't pay anything until you have reached your deductible, Available insurance carriers are very limited. There are only two participating in West Virginia. If you qualify for a Premium Tax Credit (government money you will receive to help pay your premium) this is one of the few options for indivicual coverage.I can help you determine if you qualify for a tax credit and I can help you navigate the plans but you need to know.......
There is an alternative. You can become a member of a group of Christians helping Christians. This is not insurance but rather an alternative way to help pay your medical expenses while helping brothers and sisters pay theirs. You could save considerably on your premiums. Give me a call if you would like more information. I can help you enroll in Medishare. I was a member before I became eligible for Medicare.
